Azerbaijan's candidate has been elected to the UNESCO expert group

With a view to revise the 1974 Recommendation concerning Education for International Understanding, Co-operation and Peace and Education relating to Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (1974 Recommendation), UNESCO’s Director-General created the UNESCO’s International Expert Group.

Based on the information received from the UNESCO Secretariat, Vafa Yagublu, Head of Department of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a candidate nominated by the Republic of Azerbaijan, was elected as an expert in the above-mentioned Expert Group.
